We are the Champions....
That's right... We are the Champions of the 2007 Co-Ed Potlatch softball tournament. I've been playing in that tournament every summer for many, many, years and the closes any of the teams I've played on have came to winning is 4th place. This year I put together my own team- We Rocked! Are guys were Andy, Travis, Ryan Aiken, Cam Wallace, Craig Cole and Shelby Hildreth Girls were Me, Becky Bremer, Amy Pollock, Darci Click, Jaycee Garrett, and Cat (?) The tournament was better described as a marathon- We played 8 games almost 12 straight hours of softball. We all hung in there pretty good for most of us being over 30 yrs. old. We had a great bunch of fan- My Mom, Dad, Aunt Jan, Duane, and Michelle Aiken were all there at some point to support us. We ended up receiving a !st place plaque and t-shirts for the team. Cam Wallace was MVP for the guys and I was MVP for the girls . I'm already looking forward to defending our title next year-- In my eyes I had all MVP's on my team and can't thank them enough for playing with me. Tagged.....
We have to post these rules before we give you the facts.*Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.*People who are tagged write their own blog post about their eight things and include these rules.*At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged and they should read your blog.
This is the second time I've been tagged and I dropped the ball the first time so hear goes nothing....
1. I love to stay home and work in the yard. To me that is the best day. If I had time I would mow every 3 days..I know my husband thinks I'm crazy.
2. I hate the computer. As you can tell probably from my blog that I'm not on it much.
3. Softball in my passion. I would play year round if I could. It is one thing that I am confident at doing and feel like I do it well!
4.It's water for me. I never drink coffee and I seldom drink pop. Every once in awhile I crave a Sprite. But I LOVE my ice water!!
5. I love fast food. (as you can tell)
6. I hate it when people brush there teeth and talk. That has to be the grosses thing.
7.I'm a sticker phobic... When I scrapbook if I'm using any kind of sticker I have to cute them all out or put baby powder on the back of them to make them not stick so I can arrange them and rearrange them. That expains why I'm soo slow.
8. I'm not a shopper. I usually have a list and get just what is on it. No looking around for other
things. That why I'm lucky to have Tami, she is a shopper and finds the bargains and then tells me about them. I feel very lucky about that!!
I did it 8 random facts about myself. Not as hard as I thought so now I am taggin' Aunt Jan and Michelle. They should have some good ones. Aunt Jan's blog is everybodiesauntjan.blogspot.com and Michelle's is scrappingcowgirl.blogspot.com check them out.

Sun,Surf and friends...
It's good to be home. We just got back from a great vacation in Oregon with Aunt Jan and Uncle Mike and there really fun Canadian friends.
The vacation was wonderful. 6 days and 7 nights of listening to the ocean ( well the first night Aunt Jan had us stay at a truck rest stop so that was listening to the sound of big trucks running all night) We shopped in Cannon Beach, watched the surfers at Oswald State park, rode bikes in to Manzanita and had ice cream, and flew kites and played in the sand at Nehlium (?) Bay. Gage bought a skim board and had fun trying to master that and also cooked some really good clams for everyone (except me, YUK) on the bbq. Caylie meet a new friend named Buster ( a basset hound) and cried when we had to leave him. The only thing missing from are vacation was Andy, he went on his own trip to Regionals with his baseball team.
After returning home Gage and Caylie headed to the cabin with my parents and me and Duane were off to his 20 year class reunion. It was nice for him to get to connect with friends he hadn't seen in a looong time and I got to hear some good stories. Thank goodness the kids weren't there to hear how wild there father was.
There's a little update and a glimpse into my world. With all the pictures I took I'll be scrappin' away, I'm glad the store has lots of new items for me to play with. Hope to see all of you there.

Something new..
Today I learned how to put siding on my house. Not something that most people would find very interesting but I did really enjoy it. My husband and boys have been working on the house since Monday. Tearing down part of the carport, removing the old siding and putting up the new siding. So today was my first day of REALLY getting to help out. My husband asked me if I would had rather been babysitting today- No way- It was nice getting outside and working in the heat and way less mentally challenging. I have a feeling by the end of tomorrow I'll be ready to get back to my little ones and enjoy the air conditioning though. So, it's off to bed for me -I hope everyone else is at the Smart Girls crop at the store tonight!!

Here goes nothing...
Well here goes nothing. I'm new to the world of blogging so you'll have to be patient with me and my spelling. Tami just talked me through the how to session of it so I figured I'd better write something. I spend my days talking to 0-5 year olds so my speech is a little on the elementary side of things.
Today was a good day at the Scrapbook store. Tami and I had are crop today, not a lot of people today but with it being so hot most people were probably at the river or by a pool somewhere. Michelle ( are faithful one) was there and Toni, Kassie and her friend. I actually got a fourth of July book done and me and Caylie delivered it to my mom and Dad tonight. I think they really liked it and were very excited to get to keep it and show all there friends the pictures of all the people that spent the Fourth with us at the cabin.
I think this blogging stuff is kind of neat- I'll actually be able to remember what I did today when I read this tomorrow.. so have a good today and I'll talk with you tomorrow....
